Telemetry RN needed for an 8-week contract assignment, to work in a Telemetry Unit. 3 x 12 hour shifts a week, Nights.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using telemetry.
• Assess patient conditions, vital signs, and respond to abnormalities.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team on care plans.
• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and treatments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and respond to emergencies.
• May be asked to take Charge role.
Qualifications:
• Current and clear NY state RN license
• BSN preferred.
• 2+ years of telemetry nursing experience.
• 1+ years of working with Cardiac patients.
• Previous experience working as Charge.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Strong clinical skills, communication, and teamwork abilities.
