Join Our Team as a Warehouse Operative - Andover

Are you a motivated, reliable, and hands-on individual looking to make an impact in a dynamic engineering environment? Our client is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join their friendly team in Andover on a long-term temporary basis.

Position Details

  • Hours:Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Pay Rate: 12.21 per hour
  • Contract:Temporary - ongoing, long-term opportunity

What You'll Be Doing

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of goods throughout the warehouse. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Picking and packingcustomer orders with accuracy and care
  • Replenishing stockon shelves and racking to support daily operations
  • Recording incoming deliveriesto maintain up-to-date inventory levels
  • Booking stock and deliveriesusing our warehouse system (full training provided)
  • Preparing and dispatching outgoing ordersthrough the required portals
  • Maintaining a safe and organised workspace, following all health and safety procedures
  • Operating warehouse equipmentsuch as pallet trucks and forklifts (if qualified)
  • Supporting general warehouse dutiesand contributing to a positive team environment

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong communication skillsand a proactive team player attitude
  • Good numerical and literacy skillsfor accurate record-keeping
  • Excellent attention to detailand commitment to high standards
  • Computer literate- able to learn and use warehouse systems confidently
  • A valid forklift licenceis desirable but not required
